CARE

Congregational Care

College Church takes seriously God's desire for us to come alongside one another in order to bear one another's burdens in love (Ephesians 4:1-2 and Galatians 6:2). We all go through difficult times and we all have the responsibility and privilege to love and care for one another through those hard times.

In Fall 2017, we are excited, once again, to offer GriefShare -- a support group for those dealing with the challenge of grief over the death of a family member or friend. Also, new this fall, are Grace Groups for mental health. Living Grace and Family Grace are support groups for the area of mental and emotional health. Read more about GriefShare or Grace Groups.

For couples who are engaged, soon-to-be engaged or are newly wed, we offer Becoming One. Becoming One is a 10-week class that will examine the characteristics of a biblical marriage - with many different topics and practical advice. Read more about Becoming one.

There are other resources at College Church to help care for one another:

If you need prayer, email your prayer request to Pastor Eric Channing. He will keep your request confidential if you prefer, or he can share it with the pastoral staff so that they can also pray for you at their weekly staff meeting.

When you or a loved one are ill, or have been admitted to the hospital, make sure to let us know so that our ministry staff can visit and pray for you.

If you would like practical biblical training in matters of personal finance and stewardship, contact our Director of Administration and Finance Nancy Singer.

For more information on any of these opportunities, email Pastor of Congregational Care and Family Ministries Eric Channing, or his administrative assistant, Christy Chiodras, or call them at (630) 668-0878.
