Go with a mission agency for 2 weeks to 2 years. If you’re not quite ready for career missions, why not commit to a shorter term? One effective tool for reaching closed countries is English language teaching. Short-term service continues to be a vital part of our missions effort. Our short-term missionaries' work has ranged from college professors teaching Biblical exposition to students engaged in evangelism, teaching, and community development. Study abroad for a semester or a year. Studying abroad is a perfect way for collegians and even high school students to learn about living overseas and to share the gospel among some of the least-reached people groups of the world. Studying overseas opens up huge windows of opportunity for God’s Word to enter closed countries. Check into programs through your school or college or contact the missions office. |

2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” |
