Infant Dedication or Baptism
College Church has always offered congregants two alternatives for children of believing parents: infant dedication and infant baptism.
“Our attitude in fulfilling the Church’s purpose is summarized in the historic statement, ‘In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.’”
College Church lives with the tension of either dedicating or baptizing children of believers. We do not consider this difference in biblical understanding to be an essential of the faith, and we thus provide for both practices within our fellowship.
