Holy Trinity Church, Chicago

Pastor Jon Dennis and Pastor David Helm
On May 3, 1998, thirty-seven adults took vows to found Holy Trinity Church. As Rev. Kent Hughes said at our founding, “the trajectory of our lives would be forever changed.” And we hoped, as London pastor, Dick Lucas, said in his remarks on that day, “When God opens a door, no man can shut it.”

Church Planting Across the Globe

College Church is committed to planting churches locally and internationally.

Through our Cross-Cultural Missions program, we support missionaries on six continents to train pastors for ministry and to plant churches.

Equipping and Sending Pastors

Equipping Pastors

Our two-year program equips pastors for ministry wherever God calls them.  Several residents are accepted into the program each year.

Sending Pastors

Over 20 pastors have completed the residency program – see where the Lord has called them to serve.

Equipping for Music Ministry

We seek to equip for worship by freely sharing resources with individuals and churches.  Our Music & Worship Team curates a list of resources for worship leaders and a directory of original compositions and hymn arrangements.

Launching Ministries

Through College Church congregation members and College Church initiatives, new ministries have been launched.

God Centered Life

God Centered Life (GCL) is the Bible-teaching ministry of Senior Pastor Josh Moody.  As an independent ministry, GCL aims to make the power of God’s word accessible through radio and internet broadcasts, podcasts, and online devotionals.

Since its inception, God Centered Life has sought to engage culture, train churches, and reach colleges by providing solid, biblical teaching through its sermons, devotionals, and the One Night Centered on God conference.

Re:New

In 2009, College Church members Rebecca Sandberg and Holly Setran gathered a group of other College Church women to reimagine how to connect with and meaningfully help refugee women in the Wheaton area. Their desire was to empower these women to gain a viable skill while being in a safe community of women and in a dignified and flexible work environment. Now women from Somalia, Turkey, Nepal, Iraq, Bhutan, Sudan, Tanzania, and other places gather together to meet Jesus, learn English, and become artisans.
