Restoring Hope
All people are made in God’s image, regardless of their circumstances. Serve our community with the love of Jesus and restore hope.
A Fresh Start
Residents of DuPage county need both the hope of Jesus and the help of our hands.
Because of Jesus’ love and forgiveness of our sins, we are reconciled to God. We aim to share this good news and show the vulnerable and underserved in our community that they are valuable.
CUHA
Churches United for Hardship Assistance is an organization made up of member churches
within the Wheaton area that provides assistance to individuals and families who visit churches looking for help. This is done in partnership with Wheaton Youth Outreach.
Care Groups
Volunteer your time and compassion to College Church Care Groups and meet people in specific times of need:
- GriefShare offers support for those walking through grief
- Grace Groups partner with those experiencing mental health challenges
- STARS provides respite and resources for families caring for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Homelessness
DuPage PADS is committed to providing holistic solutions to end homelessness, including interim and permanent housing, case management, life coaching, employment support and job coaching. PADS helps provide warm meals and interim housing year-round. Contact us to help College Church volunteers staff a shelter several times each year.
Community Stability and Support
Outreach Community Ministries seeks to restore hope and provide opportunities so that people can become all that God intends them to be. Volunteer your skills and experiences to assist with tutoring, youth development, family stabilization, job skills training, counseling, transitional housing and community services.
Funds for Community Support
College Church founded the Twice is Nice Resale Shop with the goal of supporting the Outreach Community Center (OCC) and its ministries. Today, all profits support the OCC. The shop, at the corner of Geneva Road and President Street in Carol Stream, provides gently used clothes, furniture, toys, kitchen and home items and is operated in partnership with Outreach Community Ministries. Twice is Nice is always looking for donations and volunteers. Volunteers help price merchandise, welcome customers, collect and sort donations, work the register and pick-up furniture on Saturdays.
