Howard Kern

Howard Kern has been the Facilities Director at College Church for 30 years. His team oversees over 13,000 setups each year and performs maintenance for the entire church campus with 28 gardens, 16 facilities, a fleet of vehicles from riding lawn mowers and snow removal tractors to the church pickup truck and cargo van. He has scores of volunteers who maintain the grounds in a variety of programs such as Using Your Skills for facility development, Custodial Mentorship, a gardening community (Adopt a Plot), and the Snow Support Crew who help with the removal of snow and ice when needed.
