Ben and Mandy Pehrson are team leaders for the Aitape West Project in Papua New Guinea, in a joint ministry of Bible translation, literacy and Scripture engagement. Their goal is to see people knowing and living God’s Word, leading to changed lives and transformed communities. In addition to checking translations, Ben regularly teaches introductory linguistics classes and has begun a PhD in linguistics. Mandy assists with administration and teaches cooking at the school for missionary kids.
