Greg and Faith work with SIM in Bolivia, focusing on discipleship through family ministry and church planting. In the church they helped to plant, Greg serves as an elder and helps train the ministry team while Faith shepherds the leaders of the women’s and children’s ministries.
The Hursts’ vision is to mobilize their congregation and other Bolivian churches to plant gospel-focused, disciple-making, missional churches that glorify God in their city, country and world. (Acts 1:8) To this end, Greg is training a group of potential church planters with a goal to send out teams in the coming year. Faith is receiving specialized training to better equip and encourage the wives of these Bolivian church planters.
