Jon and Kathy have been serving in Spain with WorldVenture since 1996. They serve in the areas of leadership development and mobilization. They are deeply burdened for the authority of the Scriptures and the purity of the gospel message in local congregations. Their primary work is to resource Spanish-speaking church leaders to support expository preaching.
Currently they are in the midst of a twelve-year project to translate the twenty-volume Zondervan Exigetical Commentary on the New Testament into Spanish. Jon teaches New Testament Greek and hermeneutics at IBSTE seminary, and exegesis and homiletics online with the Escuela Evangélica de Teología. They also serve as field leaders for WorldVenture’s missionaries in Spain.
