John and Elsa Maust are based in Wheaton and serve with Media Associates International (MAI), a global ministry that equips and encourages Christian publishing staff and writers to create locally authored content that extends the gospel and nurtures the church in hard places of the world.
John is the president of MAI, and Elsa provides part-time Spanish interpretation and translation for both the ministry and a local school district. Since MAI’s founding 39 years ago, some 10,000 men and women from 90 countries have been helped to create life-transforming Christian content for their readers.
