Rick and Janice began serving with Missionary Athletes International (MAI) in 1987. MAI is a gospel-centered ministry that introduces people to Jesus Christ, teaches them to follow him and empowers them as leaders through the global environment of soccer. As a gospel ministry that operates in sport, MAI exists to see people come to know Jesus, grow up in him and become leaders, both within and outside of sport. Along with international training of coaches and working with collegiate coaches here in the US, as director of international tours, Rick oversees MAI’s tour leaders and leads three or four sports ministry mission trips each year.
