Victor & Leslie Trautwein

Vic serves as the co-country director for Vida Para Ninos (VPN) along with Dominican pastor Ramon Prenza. He oversees the operation on the ten programs (seven holistic care schools, three residential campuses) as well as an independence program and after-school sports programs. The ministry has grown to serve over 2,500 children and youth and has approximately 350 national workers. Leslie oversees the preventive medical care for children and youth on the VPN campuses. She has a health care specialist or nurse at each site to help with supplemental nutrition, illness or minor injuries, and local guidance. Leslie also works in ministry communications, team hosting, intern recruitment and management, and development.
