Jeff and Irene
serve in Thailand. Jeff has finished his Thai language study and preliminary training for Bible translation work and is now working toward translating the Bible for the Eastern Lawa, an unreached, Bible-less language group, starting with the study of the Eastern Lawa language (unrelated to Thai). This people group is predominantly Buddhist in name, though spiritism is prevalent. They are resistant to the gospel, but a small church is slowly growing despite persecution.
