Formerly Upward Basketball, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Basketball, sponsored by College Church in Wheaton, is an annual tradition for boys and girls grades 1 through 4. Teams are created based on an even amount playing experience and height. Two parent coaches with their children are allowed per team with the rest of the player roster automatically selected by the league. No tryouts necessary.
The season begins the week of January 13, 2025, and runs through March 15, 2025. Practices are Tuesday evenings at Wheaton Academy and Thursday evenings at College Church (location of practice is team specific). This is a recreational basketball league with 7 regular season games. Games will be played on Saturday from 8am to 12pm at Wheaton Academy, 900 Prince Crossing Rd. West Chicago.
Each team will be considered a registered FCA “Huddle” and will be led by a coach in discussions about the Christian faith. Coaches have to agree to the FCA Statement of Faith and attend a scheduled coaches training session prior to the season. Student referees will be provided and trained.

- Coaches are required to be available to referee a game prior to their scheduled game.
- Each team will be considered a registered FCA “Huddle” and will be led by a coach in discussions about the Christian faith.
- Coaches have to agree to the FCA Statement of Faith and attend a scheduled coaches and referee training session prior to the season.
- Teams are computer-generated based on an even amount of playing experience and height.
- Two parent coaches with their children are allowed per team with the rest of the 8-10 player roster automatically selected by the league.
- No same-team friend requests are allowed.
- No tryouts necessary.
- Eight regular season games will be played on Saturday between 8AM to 1PM at both College Church and at Wheaton Academy, 900 Prince Crossing Rd. West Chicago.
- Practices will take place once a week prior to and during the season (as needed) on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at both locations.
- Registration cost is $125/per player with discounts available for multiple registrations in a single family.
- Financial-need based scholarships are available upon request.
