And you! Leaders in children’s ministry in Chicagoland churches will come together to share ideas about what works in their ministries.
Cost: $35, includes lunch | 25% discount provided to 20 registrants willing to present a successful element of their ministry. Discount code becomes invalid after 20 uses.
Registration closes January 30.
Additional instructions for the 20 people who sign up to present
Choose any successful element of your ministry that you think might be helpful for others to know about. It can be anything, like how to get parents to register their children annually, how to help kids who have behavioral issues successfully participate in classes, volunteer appreciation which leads to volunteer retention, an awesome community outreach event, or programs that get kids excited about learning about Jesus or reading the Bible.
Please create a slideshow (maximum of 3 slides) for a 5-minute presentation with the following information:
- Title of element of your ministry you’re sharing
- Brief summary of the element
- Who it’s applicable for (volunteers, staff, nursery, preschool, elementary, families, etc.)
- What is the need or context?
- Tell us more – how is it done, what do you do?
- Helpful resources (like books, supplies, etc.)
- Photo, if possible
Here is a sample slideshow along with template slides, if desired. The design does not have to be the same as the template; make it your own or use ours. Please send completed slides to Cheryce Berg by January 30, 2025.
A big thank you to those of you who are willing to prepare and present something. This is a huge part of what makes this group so helpful.
