Becoming Disciple-Makers
Christ calls us to follow him as disciples who make disciples.
Through discipleship relationships, we grow in the knowledge of God and his Word and in Christ-likeness.
What Do Discipleship Relationships Look Like?
We encourage discipleship pairings to meet for the length of a semester, every or every-other week. As you get to know each other better, we suggest the time focus increasingly on spiritual things and spiritual growth. This looks a little different for everyone, but generally includes time in the Bible and praying for each other, in addition to spending time catching up on life.
Pray that God would answer this desire.
Reach out to a woman you have noticed at church and invite her to coffee or tea. Tell her your desire to meet with someone to read the Bible and pray together for spiritual growth, and see if she would be willing to meet regularly to do so. If yes, make sure you talk about how often you will meet and set a duration of how long these meetings will continue.
If you would like help connecting with someone (either getting their contact info, or knowing who to connect with) reach out to us by clicking on the button below.
Pray for who you might meet with and ask God to lead you to the right person.
Reach out to a woman you have noticed at church and invite her to coffee or tea. See if she’d be willing to meet regularly to develop an intentional friendship for spiritual growth. Be sure to talk about how often to meet and agree on how many times you will get together in this intentional way.
