Lives Transformed
The love of Christ drives and empowers our acts of service to our neighbors. Our words and actions are a witness to his immeasurable grace in our own lives.
As we seek to actively invest in transforming lives through the love of Christ,
the work of the committee is to equip and encourage believers to share their faith with others and to demonstrate that faith through culture-impacting ministries, both inside and outside of College Church.
“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.”
– Isaiah 1:17
“…always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.”
– 1 Peter 3:15

Jesus said, “Love your neighbor as yourself” — Mark 12:31. Our acts of service are motivated by our desire to follow Christ and to seek justice, correct oppression and show compassion.
“For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords,
the great, the mighty, and the awesome God,
who is not partial and takes no bribe.
He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow,
and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing.
Love the sojourner, therefore…”
– Deuteronomy 10:17-19
