James has over 20 years of pastoral experience in Illinois, Texas, and Ontario. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago (Humanities) and Wheaton College Graduate School (Biblical Exegesis) and a regular instructor for the Charles Simeon Trust. His passions include discipleship, training, church revitalization, and helping the hurting.
James is an avid Minnesota sports fan. He also loves food, music, and competing in sports. He is married to Karen, who he met at College Church. Together they have five children: Charles, Ann, Jonathan, Eva, and Mercy. James and Karen share a passion for helping at risk children.
